HELP: It’s Christmas!

Every year it’s the same. Round about Halloween I start mentally preparing for Christmas. In my head I picture an alternate reality when Organised me does a weekend blitz of The Shops when they are all calm and empty. Early, and in plenty of time, I find the perfect present for everyone. I imagine, I’ve found the perfect present for my husband and hidden it, already wrapped up, in the bedroom cupboard. Heck, I’ve probably even stuffed the stockings!

AND THEN I WAKE UP. It’s December 23d. Sure, the tree’s been up since December 1st and much mulled wine merriment has been made, many carols sung. But I have been so busy keeping the show on the road that it turns out I haven’t bought so much as a single present.

Let’s just take a moment, shall we, to reflect and be thankful for the glories of Next Day Delivery?

If you are reading this and relating, and time is running out, I can’t help you with your husband I’m afraid. But I’d just like to flag up that we do actually have The Perfect Gift for the babies in your life. May I direct your attention here… I don’t want to blow my own trumpet, but they really are the best thing for a teething baby. In fact, when it comes to teething solutions, I really am your woman. My monkeys are the teething aids that I could only dream of when my babies were little and I was searching high and low for natural teething remedies.

Sometimes it’s the simple pleasures that are the best.
